Global Health Information Online

Leah Gordon of CommTechJunky focuses on “providing insight on the role of communication technology and health.”  In her blog, she has recently acknowledged the need for more information sharing to increase knowledge in the field of public health.

Gordon recently posted an article that referenced 100 Global Health Blogs That Will Open Your Eyes as noted by PharmD as well as a list of her own favorite international health blogs.  Each list is well worth checking out and using to bolster your favorites list.  Both are well labeled, and no worries, the 100 blogs are already separated into categories for easy access.  Bookmark these.

Thanks to improvements in knowledge management and the ease of knowlege exchange, more and more health information is becoming available online as public health professionals are becoming more impacted by communication afforded through new technology.  This fosters not only greater public awareness, but more collaborative efforts between public health professionals.  There’s room for physical educators within this circle.
